JEAN-PAUL GENOUX’S INTERVIEW

For this interview, we welcome Jean-Paul Genoux, President of DIMO SOFTWARE. He talks about face-to-face interaction and digital communication.

WHAT PLACE DOES FACE-TO-FACE INTERACTION HAVE IN OUR AGE OF DIGITAL COMMUNICATION?

Digital methods are a wonderful way to make a first contact, an incredible way. It’s being able to reach anyone around the globe in an extremely simple way. The openness that digital methods offer and how they bring different cultures together is absolutely wonderful and enriching. It reminds us that working with someone based in Africa or in the United States, the approach must be completely different.

This way of thinking, of thinking that everyone is very personal, means that we have to counterbalance digital contact with even more presence. Because the temptation is to do everything digitally, to have a relationship that’s only digital, and we know very well that the difference will be made by the relationship we maintain with our client, with our prospect, with our future client, because we will not put everything into artificial intelligence—the relationship aspect is just essential.
